NEW SANITARY MEASURES FOR STAY IN DJERBA

Dear customers , partners ,

In view of the evolution of the health situation and concerned to ensure the summerers of the island a stay as safe as possible, the Djerba Plaza Thalasso & Spa joins the approach of the FTH of Djerba who worked with the health authorities and the supervisory authorities, on new health measures for a vacation in peace. Below are the details of the new measures from the date of July 12, 2021.

For reservations already registered through your agency, please inform guests of these new measures BEFORE the date of their departure and ensure that the internal policy of the establishment is read and accepted to avoid any misunderstanding once there and ensure a good stay for our guests.

In case of non-acceptance of these new measures the customer will be able to choose to postpone or cancel his stay and his reservation will then be canceled without charge.

What to prepare BEFORE leaving for your vacation in Djerba?

  1. The booking of the stay.
  2. A rapid screening test of less than 24 hours to be done at your pharmacy before departure ,OR a PCR test of less than 72 h with QR Code or the full vaccination certificate QR Code downloadable from the site EVAX.tn.
  3. Pack of Mask for the whole family (protective masks are available and can be purchased on site)

It is strongly recommended to perform the COVID rapid test in the pharmacy near the client’s place of residence.  Otherwise, it is possible to do the Rapid COVID test in Djerba: link of the list of laboratories and Pharmacies.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON ARRIVAL?

Upon arrival, our guests must present, at the front door of the facility, the reservation for their stay with :

  • Either a rapid test less than 24 hours old with a pharmacist’s stamp or QR Code.
  • Either a PCR test less than 72 hours old with QR Code.
  • Either a complete vaccination certificate with QR Code.

The check in at the accommodation establishment can only be done after presentation of one of the above mentioned certificates.

Our Guests will benefit from a temperature control and a health questionnaire and will then proceed directly to their check in.

In case of presentation of a positive COVID rapid test carried out in Djerba, and before the check in, the customer will be able to choose to postpone or cancel his stay and his reservation will then be cancelled without any charge. In case the guest is unable to return home, the accommodation unit will follow the health protocol put in place by the competent authorities which stipulates that the guest will be put in isolation or sent to the hospital depending on the severity of his symptoms.

A COVID-19 discount of 10% per night will be offered. Payment will be made prior to the assignment of the isolation room for 7 days.

The establishment is obligated to inform the appropriate authorities of any positive cases.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE STAY?

-In all housing units, daily temperature checks will be conducted throughout the stay.

-Masks must be worn in public areas in accordance with current health protocol. The mask must be worn in restaurants and bars at all times, except when our guests are eating or drinking.

– In case of symptoms, the establishment will arrange for a rapid test within the establishment. This test will be at the expense of the establishment.

In case of a positive case during the stay, the accommodation unit will follow the health protocol set up by the competent authorities which stipulates to put the guest in isolation or send him/her to the hospital depending on the severity of his/her symptoms.

A COVID-19 discount of 10% per night will be offered. Payment will be made before the isolation room is assigned for 7 days.

These new measures are valid for both registered and non-registered reservations from the arrival date of July 12, 2021.

For reservations already registered through your agency, we kindly ask you to inform the customers of these new measures BEFORE the date of their departure and make sure that the internal policy of the establishment is well read and accepted to avoid any misunderstanding once on the spot and ensure a good stay to our customers.

In case of non-acceptance of these new measures, the client may choose to postpone or cancel his stay and his reservation will be cancelled without charge.
